VTM does not agree at all with the fuss about Gordon’s role as a jury member. The station says that in the search for K3 not only the voice is important, you also have to have a certain appearance to be able to belong to the group.
The channel knows that Gordon’s statements are not always nuanced, but otherwise finds that no problem: ‘That makes him honest and sincere, but sometimes also controversial. Ingeborg (Sergeant, ed.) provides more nuanced assessments with her softer side.’ Ingeborg and Gordon do the assessment together in the ‘viewing box’. VTM continues: ‘These are two extremes that have the same goal: to find that one perfect K3 that fits the picture.’

Gordon was anything but well received as a jury member in K2 looking for K3. We all know that the singer does not mince words and that is why many viewers find him completely unsuitable for the program. On Twitter they also let weekly know to be shocked by his statements.
