Belgian airlines changed their logo. The problem is that it looks like the Gazeta.pl logo. We reacted

This is what the presented on November 18 looks like new logo Brussels Airlines:

Below is our logo – the logo of the Gazeta.pl portal, which we have been using for six years. The author of our visual identification is White Cat Studio.

It is not difficult to notice that the above logos are almost identical. They differ only in the shade of red and the distribution and size of the dots. They are easy to confuse with each other. That is why we reacted quickly to the revelations of Belgian airlines.

A comparison of the Gazeta.pl logotype and the new Brussels Airlines mark leaves no doubt that the graphic elements are almost identical. We analyze this situation, we have already contacted the other party and we are waiting for an answer. We hope that this matter will be resolved quickly and amicably

– Agora’s press office informs.

We told Brussels Airlines about ourselves

“Brussels Airlines stays for good. With the new brand identity, we want to mark the beginning of a new chapter that focuses on customer experience, reliability and sustainability. We look forward to welcoming you on board with our new livery. One thing’s for sure: you’re in. good company, “we read in one of the latest Brussels Airlines posts.

We responded to it with a series of comments in which we said hello and told the Belgian airlines a bit about ourselves. “We are Gazeta.pl, we are a twenty-year-old Polish news portal with millions of readers. We can see that you operate in airplanes or something” – we introduced ourselves. You can read our comments under this post:

We boasted about it in subsequent entries first place in the prestigious Global Media Awards competition organized by the International Information Media Association INMA among national brands in the “Public Relations and Community Service” category for activities on item society LGBT+. It was in Gazeta.pl last year that the documentary series about “Rodzina +” by Nina Cieślińska about same-sex families raising children in Poland was released.

It was also the Gazeta.pl portal that published a guide for the media on how to write about LGBT + people. The guide was written by a journalist from Wiktoria Beczek portal.

We also wrote about our commitment to education and reliable information about? Climate change. Together with our partner – the Climate Coalition – Gazeta.pl launched the “Alarm for the climate” campaignwhich was inaugurated by a joint appeal by dr hab. Eng. Zbigniew Karaczun, co-founder of the Climate Coalition, and Patryk Strzałkowski, editor-in-chief of Zielona.Gazeta.pl.

The third comment concerned the action of purchasing, releasing the last issue and closing “Twój Weekend”, conducted by Gazeta.pl together with VMLY & R Poland, MasterCard and BNP Paribas, won the Cannes Lions Grand Prix in the Glass category: The Lion for Change and the Titanic Lion. Let us remind you that “Your Weekend“was the longest-published erotic magazine in Poland, full of photos of naked women and sexist texts. The latest issue of the magazine was filled, in reference to the original layout of the magazine and the names of the columns, with content promoting equal rights and opportunities for both sexes.

Last but not least – in the end, we appealed for the support of our friends from the association Love does not excludewhich deals with building a strong LGBT + community in Poland.

All of this is under the sign of our nine red dots.
