A thirties suspected of having killed with several stabs another man in Belfort (Territoire de Belfort) was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention this Friday for assassination, indicates the parquet floor of Montbéliard.
Arrested Thursday in the sector of Montbéliard (Doubs), the 32-year-old suspect admitted to being the author of the stab wounds which cost the life of the victim Saturday not far from the station of Belfort, explained the vice-prosecutor of Montbéliard, Julie Fergane.
Several stab wounds to the abdomen
According to the first elements of the police investigation, this man reproached the victim for having “dredged his girlfriend”. He stabbed her several times in the abdomen before fleeing, the municipal police chasing her.
The number of blows and the determination of the alleged attacker, who returned to his victim before killing him, led the Montbéliard public prosecutor’s office to open a judicial investigation for “intentional homicide with premeditation”.
