The Mar del Plata native completed her third participation in the Olympic Games, after Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, with a time of 9 minutes, 34 seconds and 78 hundredths.

Casetta holds the Argentine and South American record for the 3,000-meter steeplechase with 9 minutes, 25 seconds and 99 hundredths. By winning the gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile, she became the first Argentine woman in 24 years to achieve this feat.

The Argentine athlete had been Pan American champion six months after becoming a mother. Her time of 9:39:47 beat the Pan American record that Genevieve Lalonde had achieved in Lima 2019 (9:41:45).
