Troops Belarus reported to have entered the city in UkraineChernihiv, to help Russia attack the former Soviet Union.
The Ukrainian parliament stated that the Head of the Department of the Northern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Vitaly Kirilov, confirmed this news to local media, Suspilny.
“The Belarusian army entered Chernihiv. Vitaly Kirilov confirmed this information to [media Suspilny],” the Ukrainian Parliament said in a statement via social media Telegram.
However, there has been no direct confirmation from the military or border guards.
Previously, it was rumored that Belarus would send troops to Ukraine, but the time and number of personnel was not known.
Apart from Belarus, Russia is also assisted by the Chechen group. Two troops were killed and six others were injured while fighting against Ukraine.
The Chechen troops under Kadyrov have long been Russia’s allies. They often help Moscow carry out military operations, such as in Georgia and Syria.
In addition to being affiliated with Putin, these troops are also said to often carry out arbitrary arrests.
Ukraine is under Russian siege after Putin announced an invasion of the country’s east last week. The fighting spread to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
The two countries had held talks, but to no avail. Moscow continued to carry out attacks until the sixth day of the invasion, one of which was in Kharkiv.
As a result of the missile attack in Kharkiv, six people, including one child, were injured. The attack also destroyed city government buildings and residential areas.
