Military equipment will appear in the Belarusian city of Brest on May 4-5 due to a sudden check of the reaction forces of the Belarusian armed forces. The equipment will move to “task areas”. About it declared Mayor of Brest Alexander Rogachuk on Telegram.

According to him, the main goal is to test the readiness of the Belarusian army to quickly respond to crises both on the ground and in the air. Shevchuk said that the residents of Brest have no reason to worry.

In addition, the mayor of the Belarusian city said that employees of the city emergency department would conduct exercises in the Brest city hospital. They use 4 special vehicles.

It should be noted that Brest is located in the west of Belarus right at the Polish border.

Remember May 4th Belarusian army launches surprise check of reaction forces. The Belarusian military will operate in unfamiliar areas of the terrain and move in the cities of the country. However, the press service of the Belarusian Armed Forces stated that the exercises do not pose a threat to other countries.

Earlier, on April 18, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich threatened Poland, Latvia, Lithuania with a “response to aggression”. According to him, these countries are allegedly planning an invasion of Belarusian territory. Volfovich said that in the event of an attack, military operations would take place on the territory of those states that would unleash “aggression against Belarus.”
