Belarusian farmers sowed winter grains on more than 94% of the area | Economy

In Belarus, winter grains are sown on more than 94% of the area. This is reported by BELTA with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

According to data as of October 15, 8558.3 ​​thousand tons of grains, including rapeseed, were threshed in Belarus. Of these, 7517.5 thousand tons were grains and leguminous crops (with corn).

Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel regions continue sowing winter grains. They were sown for grain on 1,447 thousand hectares. This is 94.1% of the plan.

Corn harvesting for grain continues in all regions of the country. 140.3 thousand hectares have already been harvested, 1134.3 thousand tons have been threshed.

Potato harvesting is being completed: 713.9 thousand tons have been dug up with a yield of 351.5 c/ha.

Belarusian farmers continue harvesting sugar beets: 2420.7 thousand tons have been collected.
