From October 10, Belarusbank increased interest rates on time bank deposits accepted in Belarusian rubles. The press service of the financial institution noted that the profit of some of them increased to 14%. Some other banks also took similar decisions.
Today, Belarusbank offers 36 investments in Belarusian rubles for periods from 45 days to 5 years. In the press service of the financial institution reportedthat they increased rates on some of them from October 10. So, we are talking about investments where the profit is the highest:
- “Right option” (non-revocable) – 13.2% rate for 2 years (previously – 12.7%);
- “Irrevocable for non-resident” – the rate is 11% per year for 9 months (previously – 10%);
- “Save online” – 11.3% rate for 7 months (previously – 10.5%);
- “Ladies’ whim” – 14% rate for 2 years (previously – 13.5%);
- “Right online option” (unfixed) – rate 13.95% for 2 years (previously – 13.45%).
What about other people?
For some investments in Belarusian rubles “RRB-Bank” rates increase and 0.8 percentage points to 14.4% annually. We are talking about:
- “No recall for 13 months in BYN”;
- “RRB-line BYN capitalization 13 months”;
- “RRB-online BYN 13 months interest on account.”
THEN “Parity Bank” rates on the deposit “Irrevocable Online” in Belarusian rubles steel more profitable:
- from 2 pp up to 12.1% per year for an option with a placement of 9 months;
- from 1.5 pp up to 13.6% annually for options with a term of 370 days and 13 months;
- from 1 pp up to 12.1% and 14.1% per year for options with a period of 11 and 15 months, respectively.
In addition, the rates on the investment “Fixed Income” in Belarusian rubles have increased, they are:
- from 2 pp up to 12% per year for an option with a business placement of 9 months;
- from 1.5 pp up to 13.5% annually for options with a term of 370 days and 13 months;
- from 1 pp up to 12% and 14% annually for options with a period of 11 and 15 months, respectively.
Earlier, Telegraf.news wrote that VTB Bank reported a decrease in interest rates on car loans. The financial institution noted that a new or used car can now be purchased at 15.9% per annum for the first three months and 17.7% for the entire remaining period. Thus, the rate at VTB Bank decreased by 1.2 percentage points.

Let’s remember that a similar decision was made before in Belarusbank, Belinvestbank, Belagroprombank and Technobank. In addition, from October 10, the latter increased the limit on money transfers for some payment cards.
