What is the forecast for the week from 16 to 22 October
At the beginning of the week, the weather will be determined by an area of high atmospheric pressure formed in cool, moist air.

Scattered showers are forecast, with the possibility of sleet. The wind will be moderate northwest.
Night temperature will be +1-6 degrees. During the day on Monday +6-10 degrees are expected, on Tuesday – up to +11 degrees.
In the middle of the week, the influence of a stormy weather front from northwestern Europe and cold, humid air masses will affect.
In many areas there will be rain and sleet, and gusty winds are possible.
At night on Wednesday it will be from 0 to +6 degrees, during the day +6-11 degrees are expected.
In the second half of the week, the weather will be determined by an area of high atmospheric pressure.
It will be mostly rainless; only on Friday there will be short-term rain and sleet in the southern regions.
There may be some fog in the morning. The wind will be north and northeast moderate.
Frosts down to -1 degree are possible at night. During the day on Thursday it will be +4-9 degrees, on Friday – +1-5 degrees.
According to preliminary forecasts, next weekend the weather will be determined by a cold but fine Scandinavian anticyclone.
No significant precipitation is forecast; light fog is possible at night and in the morning. The wind will be moderate from the north.
Frosts down to -3 degrees are expected at night. During the day on Saturday it will be +1-4 degrees, on Sunday – +2-6 degrees.
