Against the background of the war in the Middle East, attention to Ukraine recedes into the background and “it will still be ours anyway”. This was assured by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with representatives and employees of the nuclear power plant near Ostrovets, the state news agency BelTA reports. .
“Ukraine will be ours again. Nobody needs this Ukraine… And now the Middle East too… I warned when the war started, I called Zelensky and told him: “Volodya, listen to me, I am an experienced person, I have been working for a long time years. As soon as some mess happens somewhere, they will forget about you.” And what happens? Ukraine recedes into the background (due to the escalation in the Middle East – note: BelTA)”.

“You need to think with your head before dragging the country into this or that adventure,” Lukashenko added.
He pointed to Afghanistan as an example: “The Americans abandoned it and left. It will be the same in Ukraine.”
“Therefore, this region (Ukraine – note BelTA) is our region. In the sense that we will be together,” continued Lukashenko. In his words, sooner or later “Europe will crawl towards us, towards Russia… Because today Europe is torn apart by the Americans as they please. But it cannot stand because everything is tied to the American market – loans, real estate, etc.,” added the president of Belarus.
