“We are analyzing the prospects for acquiring or creating our own cargo fleet in order to minimize freight costs,” the head of the Belarusian government said.
He did not rule out that Belarus will have its own seaport. It will be used for the transportation of oil products and potash fertilizers in cooperation with the Russian side.
The Belarusian government considers its location on the territory of the Russian Leningrad region to be the most effective, he added.
“We are working very seriously in this direction,” the Prime Minister said.
