Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Major General Ruslan Kosygin, said that in case of “Western provocations”, Belarusian forces will first of all strike at Polish infrastructure, referring to “Европейская правда”, reports pravda.com.ua.
“The territory of Poland, like the Baltic states, is turning into a testing ground where the United States plans to launch another bloody conflict in Europe against the Russian Federation and its allies,” Kosygin said.
He noted the progress of military exercises, as well as “attempts by some Polish politicians to initiate the so-called return of the original Polish lands, which means the western regions of Ukraine and Belarus.”
The deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus called all this “preparation for conducting military operations in the eastern direction.
“At the same time – and this must first be understood by the Polish leadership – in the event of a conflict, Polish territory with its military infrastructure becomes the primary target of a strike,” Kosygin said.
He summarized that “the West must clearly understand that our response to any armed provocations will certainly be adequate and harsh”.
