The Beit Al Khair Association program for emergency support has succeeded in spending more than 26.7 million dirhams since the beginning of this year, benefiting 4,474 needy families and cases.
The program bears the name “Fazaa”, and it is one of the programs that promotes the spirit of solidarity and community cohesion, and improves the conditions of the most needy people.
The program consists of “emergency aid”, “treatment” and “al-garmin” projects. It is concerned with relieving the distress of families and cases that are going through disability or emergency crisis, so that they can overcome their ordeal and resume their usual life.
The association stated that spending on these projects is distributed over several areas, including about 14 million dirhams provided as urgent cash assistance to raise the material and financial deficit for 3,596 families and cases, in addition to more than 6.47 million dirhams provided to support the housing of many citizen families with lower incomes, especially families Youth, as well as support for the marriage of 12 young Emiratis, with a value of about 122.8 thousand dirhams.
Beit Al Khair assisted 65 insolvent citizens in resolving financial, rental and contentious issues, which required the payment of legally due sums of 1.425 million dirhams. By paying amounts amounting to more than 414.4 thousand dirhams.
The association also provided medical and treatment services to a large number of resident patients whose treatment cost exceeded their ability or health insurance that did not help them cover their critical conditions such as surgeries, physical therapy or expensive medicine, with a value of 1.967 million dirhams, benefiting 106 patients who needed medical treatment. Emergency financial support for their treatment.
Beit Al-Khair contributed to supporting needy students from insolvent families with a value of 1.841 million dirhams, because it is convinced that education is one of the basic needs for the future of families, to help them enhance their self-reliance, with the help of their children to complete their educational attainment, so that they can obtain a job opportunity that suffices them and their families. economically, as the number of beneficiaries reached 175 students.
The association also met the emergency needs of orphans with a value of 88.9 thousand dirhams, benefiting 35 orphans, and the needs of 32 people of determination, with a value of 343 thousand dirhams, which included the purchase of auxiliary medical devices, wheelchairs and others that help them overcome the nature of their disability.
Finally, the association began implementing its new project, “Serving Mosques”, by restoring the first mosque inside the country for this year, at a value of 92.7 thousand dirhams.
• 65 insolvent citizens were assisted by “Bayt Al-Khair” in resolving financial, rental and contentious issues within five months.
