Beirut-Chemiekali: Administrative court sees no acute risk of explosion from artificial fertilizer in industrial park in MSP

Ammonium nitrate is the chemical stockpiled at the Beirut port that left large parts of the city wrecked in a 2020 explosion. It is used for the production of artificial fertilizer. This is exactly what an agricultural company is doing that is currently setting up a business in an industrial park in Main-Spessart. The company is quite large: soon, more than 25,000 tons of grain a year will be handled here. The fertilizer storage hall can hold up to 2000 tons. Two plaintiffs have now referred to the dangers before the Würzburg Administrative Court.
