Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Faction, Dahlan’s arteries asked the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) Gen Sitting Abdurachman acted decisively in response to allegations of ill-treatment he received from a woman claiming to be ‘the family of a three-star general’.
This request was made by Arteria after he and his mother were verbally abused by a woman who claimed to be a ‘family of three-star general’ at Terminal 3, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday (21/11) night.
According to him, the family and wife of a general should be able to show the character of the Army.
“Mr. Army Chief of Staff, Mr. Dudung, I ask for this to be strictly dealt with,” said Arteria to Mr CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (22/11).
“This wife is not an officer’s wife, his wife is a general, she should be able to show the character of the Indonesian Army in public, not the other way around selling anyone, before selling a three-star general, then I was told this is a one-star general’s wife,” he added.
Arteria also asked the Military Police Center (Puspom) of the TNI to immediately act decisively.
According to him, the woman who claimed to be a ‘family of three-star general’ did not have public sensitivity since she was on the plane when the plane just landed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
“I don’t think there is any sensitivity, either to the public or to parents. The plane hasn’t even descended yet and they’re already talking ‘where is the protocol, where’s the protocol’. The plane is new. landing, just opened the door,” said Arteria.
Even so, Arteria did not want to mention the three -star general meant by the woman who cursed him in detail. He only mentioned the name of the TNI general mentioned by the woman who had arrested him when he was still an activist in the past.
“Alternately, the three stars he claimed to be a child. I checked who the three stars were, it turned out to be catch we used to, if the name he called,” he said.
The incident experienced by Arteria was initially known from the upload of the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission III from the NasDem Party Faction, Ahmad Sahroni, on his Instagram account, @ahmadsahroni88, Sunday (21/11).
Sahroni said the woman who cursed Arteria Dahlan’s mother was wearing a green TNI official car. He also asked the TNI to find out the identity of the woman.
