BEI warning! The Benjtok Issuer has the Potential to Be Expelled from the Exchange

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that a property issuer affiliated with Benny Tjokrosaputro, PT Armidian Karyatama Tbk (ARMY) has the potential to be delisted.

Referring to the IDX announcement that was delivered by the Head of Company Assessment Division 3, Goklas Tambunan and Head of the Trade Management and Operations Division, Irvan Susandy, Armidian Karyatama’s shares have been suspended for 12 months from December 2, 2019 and the suspension period will be 24 months on December 2, 2021.

Referring to Exchange Rule Number II concerning delisting and relisting of shares on the stock exchange, IDX may write off shares of the issuer if:


First, experiencing a condition, or event, which has a significant negative effect on the business continuity of the Listed Company, either financially or legally, or on the continuity of the Listed Company status as a Public Company, and the Listed Company cannot show an indication of adequate recovery.

Second, the Listed Company’s shares which are due to suspension in the Regular Market and Cash Market, have only been traded in the Negotiation Market for at least the last 24 (twenty four) months.

“The Exchange asks the public to pay attention and pay close attention to all forms of information submitted by the company,” wrote the IDX announcement, quoted on Thursday (3/12/2020).

Referring to the ARMY share registration activity report up to September 30, 2020, currently 20.45% of shares are held by PT Mandiri Mega Jaya. Furthermore, PT Gasa Perdana Ciptadaya has ownership of 7.19%. PT Asabri (Persero) was recorded at 5.99% and Retail Development Group Limited at 5.04%. Meanwhile, the share of the public was 61.30%.
