“Behind-the-scenes diplomacy is working”: Turkey said that Moscow and Kyiv are developing a document to end the war

Moscow and Kyiv are working on a common declaration to end the war in Ukraine.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said that the Russian Federation and Ukraine are working on a joint declaration on the end of the war waged by the Kremlin against Ukraine.

This was stated by Cavusoglu in a conversation with journalists. Daily Sabah.

According to him, a comprehensive text is being developed by Kyiv and Moscow, and behind-the-scenes diplomacy is also working.

“Currently, there is a comprehensive text that the negotiators are discussing. In addition, behind-the-scenes connections are working between the leaders. We see that in this process there is also a draft joint declaration. We also see that in this process there is a draft of a common statement. . – impartiality, security and guarantees,” Cavusoglu said.

At the same time, according to Cavusoglu, the final decision is up to President Vladimir Zelensky and dictator Vladimir Putin.

Recall Erdogan said he would hold telephone conversations with Zelensky and Putin.
