Mr Minister of Power and Energy,
Mr Ministry of Water and Sanitation,
Son of excellence Mr. Ambassador of Switzerland,
Dear Technical and Financial Partners,
Mr. Governor of Vakinankaratra Region,
Mr. General Manager of Gamo group company
Prefects and district chefs,
Dear Master,
Your Civil and Military Officers and Officers,
Gentlemen.
It is with great love that I came to this place where we will be establishing this great project today. The reason I came here is three things.
The first is to encourage private companies to produce renewable electricity, and to take into account the preparation and cooperation put in place by the government and private companies.
The second challenge we have set is to provide energy so that electricity and light reach every home.
And the third most important thing is the production of renewable energy.
The reason is this: Today, there is not enough energy production in Madagascar because the population is increasing but energy production is not increasing. That’s one.
But secondly, what we have here is that 90% of the energy output here can still be said “thermal” everything, that is, still using fuel, causing excessive costs; It causes a lack of production and it also causes the high cost of electricity production because most of the production in our country, as I said before, uses oil.
That is, every month, every year, 1,200 billion (billion) is allocated to produce electricity.
Jirama power supplies are old, they are all old, they often break down. And that is why we must take a big step in this second term that I will lead the country, one goal that must be achieved and we will not sit, is to take electricity out of energy renewable.
God gave us the sun, look at this bright sun. Due to the advancement of technology, it is possible to generate electricity. The wind, which is free, that we have in many areas, including in the south and in the north where Varatraza is, can produce electricity.
But especially water, which we can see and see here, can also generate electricity. That’s what we’re saying: God gave us these three elements to make electricity.
Just last week, we released them in Toamasina “solar parks”, “ships” 300 will be used to generate electricity from the sun, which will be distributed to 47 of the 120 areas on the island, that is, less than half of the areas in Madagascar that cannot generate electricity from the sun we will finish in six months. because Until the end of the year, the installation of solar parks throughout Madagascar will be completed.
Just four days, five days ago, because it was Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we were in Taolagnaro (Fort-Dauphin). He laid the foundation stone for making lights from the air or so “wind farm” first in Madagascar.
Yes this means: the cooperation of private companies and the government is the main guarantee that we can accelerate the development of Madagascar, especially in the production of renewable energy.
Now “water medium” we will be the only one in Behenjy, producing energy from water, we will provide 700 homes here in Amboasary and Morarano. There are still many towns that need to provide electricity and electricity and this is the challenge we face, because I heard and came to me a request from the other 10 towns, this is what we are doing: a ‘ start today, when this. remote electricity generation, is a project by Jirama to do “connection” mora.
The “connection” easy? Usually when there is electricity, it is too expensive to run this electricity for each household. So there is a project with “The World Bank”hence the price “counter” A householder will only pay for the other utilities, the “fils” and “poles” promised by the government along with the joint project with Jirama. That is only 30,000 aryi. This is in front of each house, so that the “branches” for the houses here in Amboasary and Morarano are cut.
The other towns, which have not received this electricity yet, according to the Director General of Hydromado, are: “The most beautiful thing is that there is nothing to overcome the darkness but the light”. True or false? Therefore, every house needs light.
Therefore, all homes that have not received electricity up to the homes that are further away, in these cities, must cooperate with the Mayor, together with the City Leaders, under the guidance of the Governor and the Prefect, please make a clean list. Starting from “selection list” it will be compared to the list of the city: one house, one town, not one house with three villages, so that everyone can enjoy.
When that list is clean, all the villages, here in Behenjy and around, will be rich “solar kit” free without using candles, without using kerosene (“oil”) more. Is it right or wrong? It is a fixed goal. And I would like to tell you that after the dedication here, in the afternoon, we will hold a Council of Ministers and one of the debates and agendas that will be put in the Council of Ministers is the order that will be put in place therefore. that every home in Madagascar – to meet my challenge and myself – must supply and receive electricity “solar kit” too.
I have a lot of projects to do. But one of the projects that is stuck in my heart, and especially that I can’t get out of my mind that I have to do, is to provide electricity to every house. Many Presidents have passed away now: I want to establish something permanent, to give light to every house, and to light up your houses, to light up all the Districts, to light up all the Municipalities throughout Matthew, Women and Men.
So the goal we set is to be able to use renewable energy, and we must achieve it, to add power from these three elements that God has given us.
Here I would like to congratulate and give my special thanks to the Group of Companies, the “Groupe Gamo”, including the Sainto that I drink every day, Mr. General Manager. I’m not advertising you, but when the “test”at the Pasteur Institute, Sainto water is one of the best for health. And that’s where you will find that the water I drink next to me is always Sainto, because it is Malagasy but mainly because of the good quality of the production of that Sainto water.
Congratulations to you personally, Mr. General Manager and all the staff for this project with Hydromado. An example given by the Gamo Business Group is to do this because it can be done well and directly participate in the development of the country, by making work plans and projects that are related to the vision set by the Government – government.
And I always encourage myself, the private sector to work together, to work with the Government to develop the country we have together.
Long live the cooperation of the Government and the private sector, and long may this company that we are establishing here at Hydromado, bring electricity to every home.
That’s the long one, that’s the short one, so I wish us all good luck.
Greetings from afar,
We welcome you here in the city, and we will all be blessed by God.
Thank you, Sir, Thank you, Madam,
Madagascar must move on.
