Husband’s cruel act Mona HeidariSayyad Heidari draws criticism all over Iran to international. A video showing his heinous act of carrying his wife’s severed head viral some time ago.
Reported by AFP and CNN, Sunday (2/13/2022) in the video footage that had circulated widely, Sayyad was seen carrying a piece of Mona’s head in one hand. While the other hand carries a knife. There is no trace of sadness on his face, in the recording Sayyad’s face even looks smiling while walking around the Ahvaz neighborhood, Iran.
His murder started when Mona, who often experienced domestic violence, fled to Turkey for 4 months. Mona’s father then persuaded her to return to Iran.
Upon his return from Turkey, Sajjad is assisted by his brother in killing Mona. They allegedly tied hands and beheaded Mona. Mona’s own body was disposed of before Sajjad paraded his own wife’s head through the streets of Ahvaz.
According to the Fars news agency, Sajjad’s mother admitted that her son had threatened to kill his wife and claimed to be responsible for the murder.
As a result of the actions of Sajjad and his brother, they have now been arrested. But it is not clear what punishment they will face.
