Begoña Gómez’s lawyer, Antonio Camacho, assured this Monday that the order given by the Court of Madrid to Judge Juan Carlos Peinado is an “important step” for the definitive closure of the investigation opened against the wife of the President of the Government.

In statements to Efe, Camacho has been satisfied with the decision of the Court of Madrid to order Judge Peinado to limit his investigation against Gómez and to exclude the rescue of Globalia from the procedure, although has supported him in investigating his alleged relationship with the companies. by Juan Carlos Barrabés.

In this way, as the lawyer has pointed out, the appeals that he and the Office of the Public Prosecutor have submitted “to a large extent” are upheld and an investigation that had developed “too imprecise and general” is limited.
