Today around 800 boys and girls begin the course in the municipal nursery schools of A Coruña. The official opening by the Council has been at the Carricanta school.
Three thousand five hundred boys and girls have started in the nursery schools dependent on the Xunta in the province. 544 do so in the city of A Coruña. The public places offered are still insufficient for the existing demand.

The families that cannot take their child to a public nursery and are forced to go to a private concerted receive, according to the commitment of the Xunta, the concilia voucher, an aid of 45 to 50 euros. There are parents who report that the check has not yet arrived.
The official opening of the schools dependent on the public administration was held in Elviña.
