The washing procession of the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Parangep starting early. Jokowi installed bleketepe or woven with coconut leaves.
Reported detik Jateng, Friday (9/12/2022), washing was done at Jokowi residence in Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Central Java at 09.00 WIB. This procession was also held at the residence of the bride-to-be Erina Sofia Gudono in Mlati Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY).
According to customs and traditions, a bleketepe is installed before the siraman procession. This installation was created by President Jokowi accompanied by First Lady Iriana Jokowi.
From tracking detik JatengOn Friday (9/12/2022) at the scene, Jokowi and Iriana were accompanied by their daughter Kahiyang Ayu and husband Bobby Nasution.
President Jokowi came out of his residence to install Bleketepe. Then Iriana Jokowi proceeded to install the tuwuhan, i.e. the installation of “ubo rampe” to complete the wedding procession. Tuwuhan is installed on both sides of the bride’s residence entrance.
Plants contain various types of plants and fruits. Such as plantains, wulung sugar cane, kluwih leaves, ivory cups, sawuli rice and many other types.
