Before the Rolling Stones’ performance in Munich, Mick Jagger strolls through the city and shares the enthusiastic impressions of a tourist and Munich lover. He also treats himself to a pint of beer. Later on on stage he even wears a jacket, the color of which is reminiscent of a beer with a head of foam.

Mick Jagger used his stay in Munich to stroll through the city before a concert in the best weather and, among other things, to drink a pint of beer. The 78-year-old singer is currently on a European tour with the Rolling Stones. After a successful night in Madrid, the band made a stop in the Bavarian capital on Sunday evening.

Before the cult rockers went on stage, Jagger took the time to explore Munich. A detour to the beer garden was a must. A clip on Instagram shows the musician toasting his beer. “Cheers Munich,” he wrote. In the video he also says “Cheers”.

Photos in Jagger’s Post also show him in the English Garden and at other Munich sights such as the Friedensengel. As befits a tourist, he wears a casual hat with a straw look.

Munich was the second stop of the “Sixty” tour, with which the Rolling Stones want to celebrate six decades together. As the “Münchener Merkur” reports, after just a few minutes, frontman Jagger reminded him of the Stones’ drummer, Charlie Watts, who died last year. “We miss him very much,” the 78-year-old is quoted as saying.

The Rolling Stones continue on June 9 in Liverpool, UK. On July 27th they come back to Germany for another concert – to Gelsenkirchen.
