Before the month of Ramadan comes… Tips for coffee addicts | Mix

Ammon – We are days away from the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, and with it daily habits will change, due to long hours of fasting, which reach approximately 14 hours in most countries.

Many people are accustomed to drinking coffee as soon as they wake up, and most coffee addicts do not start their day without drinking a cup of coffee, which they believe spreads activity, energy, and focus in their minds and bodies. But with the daily map of wake-up and sleep times changing, and there being a difference of at least three hours between the time of suhoor and dawn prayer and the time of starting work… What is the best way for coffee lovers and caffeine addicts to behave?

The reason why people love drinking coffee is because of the presence of caffeine, which contributes to the constriction of blood vessels in the head, which makes the body feel energetic and provides it with energy. The first day of fasting is always the most difficult, because of stopping drinking caffeine at the same time of the day, which leads to headaches and pain.

Therefore, nutrition and health experts advise preparing for the advent of the holy month, in the last week before announcing the start of fasting, by applying some tips that will help control your nervous emotions, and gradually getting used to not drinking the morning cup of coffee at its usual time for a whole month, and among the most prominent of these tips is :

– Starting from the last week before the start of the month of Ramadan, we must work to gradually reduce the amount of daily coffee. Whoever is accustomed to drinking a cup can drink half of it, and whoever is accustomed to drinking two cups should drink one cup… and so on.

– Whoever is accustomed to drinking coffee immediately after waking up, should try delaying drinking it for two hours, for example, for three days, before replacing it with another drink, such as water, for example, at the same new time. It is possible to drink more water during coffee time, and during the day, as water is the most important substitute for caffeine in the body.

You can also work on increasing sleep time by an hour or two, depending on new work schedules, so that it is time to drink coffee during your sleep, which helps reduce caffeine demand.

– It is important to practice simple exercises that do not cause fatigue.

– Use the advent of the month of Ramadan by reducing caffeine intake. It is also necessary not to drink large amounts of coffee before going to sleep, under the pretext of compensating the body with caffeine during the suhoor period.
