Around half past six in the evening, motorists noticed the motorcyclist in the vicinity of the “Mols” shopping center. The driver Dairis shares the footage of the video recorder, which shows the style of the motorcyclist several minutes before the collision.

“Driving in the direction of Krasta Street towards the center, the mentioned motorcycle driver overtook me on the right side. I was as if making sure of safety to rearrange in the middle lane, when I had turned on the turn and started the maneuver, suddenly he appeared in the mirror at a great speed and I avoided the collision.

He then pulled up next to me in the right lane and slowed down again causing me to pass him and get in front of him and then he sped up again. In the video, you can see how he causes various emergency situations by maneuvering between heavy and light vehicles. One of the cars in front is also forced to brake rapidly.

The second cause of the serious accident was improper braking. Road traffic expert Oskars Irbītis reminds that every time before a new season it is advisable to practice the technique of stopping in designated places.
