Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan keep in touch with Archdiocese of DKI Jakarta before his term expires on the following 16 October. The gathering was also the time to say goodbye to Anies.

“Getting in touch with the archdiocese of DKI Jakarta, has the opportunity to hear more about the history of the cathedral church and the historical journey of Catholics in Indonesia,” Anies said in his upload, as quoted on Saturday (8/10) .
On that occasion Anies admitted that he had had a long conversation with Cardinal Ignatius Suharyo. He said he was grateful to be able to work with the archdiocese of Jakarta for five years as the leader of Jakarta.
“We are grateful to be able to work with you to bring a sense of justice, kinship, unity and unity to the citizens of the city of Jakarta,” he said.
Anies did not forget to express his gratitude to all the Catholics of Jakarta who, according to him, have contributed to achieving unity in the capital.
At the same time, he said goodbye, as his term as governor will end on October 16. Anies hopes their relationship will continue even if they no longer serve as governors.
“Please say goodbye, because next week the mandate as Governor of the DKI will be completed, hopefully this relationship will be maintained. The problems and challenges for the religious will continue to exist beyond the mandate of the government,” said Anies.

The question arose because Anies was recently declared a presidential candidate by NasDem. He said he only came to the wedding ceremony.
