Before passing away, Melisha Sidabutar often complained of shortness of breath

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Indonesian Idol Special Season contestants, Melisha Sidabutar passed away on Tuesday (8/12/2020).

Melisha died after developing an enlarged heart. However, it is not clear since when Melisha suffered from the disease.

A friend of Melisha who was contacted Kompas.com, Ellysia Belinda, said that lately the twins often complained of pain in the chest.

“So she recently said her father was complaining that she was tired quickly, she had shortness of breath, her breath was shorter. The pain was from when I didn’t know. Yesterday the atmosphere was too good, I was really shocked,” said Ellysia when contacted by Kompas.com, Wednesday (9/12/2020).

Ellysia, who is also a neighbor of the Sidabutar family, said Melisha’s parents took their child to the hospital several times.

“His father’s mother just said yesterday that he wanted to be taken to the hospital. Just because he was afraid of Covid-19 (it didn’t work), then yesterday. already I was so sick that I was finally taken to the hospital, “said Ellysia.

Melisha was rushed to hospital on Tuesday (8/12/2020). But his life could not be helped. Melisha was declared dead.

According to Ellysia, currently Melisha’s body is still buried in the funeral home.

“Today not (buried), today at home continue to welcome guests, family, church friends Melisha, Melitha (twin sister) as well. Then her sister’s friends too,” he said.

Melisha Sidabutar became one of the Indonesian Idol contestants who entered the Top 35.
