The man with the initials AS (29) is known to be having an affair with the woman whose body was found in a lot on the edge of the river Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Prior to the murder, the two were having sex or had sex at the suspect’s rented house.
“The victim was lured, invited to her rented house. Sexual intercourse had taken place in her rented house,” Bogor AKBP Police Chief Iman Imanuddin said during a news conference at Bogor Police Headquarters, Jalan Tegar Beriman, Cibinong, Wednesday (21/12/2022).
After the report, the suspect then killed and took the victim’s property. The victim was killed by strangulation.
“Then the victim was strangled,” he explained.
After being confirmed dead, the victim was then taken away by the suspect. The body was then dumped on the bank of Gunung Putri River, Bogor Regency.
“When the victim died, the suspect took the victim to look for a place to dispose of the body. Then in the Gunung Putri area, the suspect disposed of the victim’s body,” he said.
Suspected victim of an affair
The police reveal more facts from the murder case. The suspect is the victim’s lover.
“Suspect and victim sister LH (41) are in a relationship. The victim is the suspect’s lover,” Iman said.
The suspect and the victim both have legal partners. Furthermore, the suspect is a teacher of the Koran for the victim’s son.
“Then the suspect is the teacher of the Koran for the victim’s son,” he explained.
