It’s quite a clown story! This week, Terrifier 3 of Damien Leone a past Joker: Folie à Deux of Todd Phillips at the American box office. Art has officially overtaken the Joker to become Hollywood’s greatest clown. After its premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 19, the terribly violent Terrifier 3 was finally released in American theaters on October 11, and a little earlier here on October 9.
Across the Atlantic, just during its first weekend in theaters, the third installment of the slasher became the most profitable title in the cult horror franchise. And that’s not all: it took first place at the box office, surpassing Joker: Folie à Deux during its second weekend and The Wild Robot during its third weekend at the cinema. According to forecasts, this weekend the film should even earn at least double what it Joker 2 will win…
