The United States is now putting itself in order of battle: 10,000 cases, 150 deaths and this is only the beginning. New York, particularly affected, is preparing.

It is the heart of the city that never sleeps. Broadway, the theater and musical district, not a musical note, not a spectator, the curtain has fallen on New York. In Times Square, the famous screens no longer party. There are still a few passers-by: New Yorkers who have come to see their city, unrecognizable.
“It’s scary and so unusual to see the city like that. And you know it’s just the beginning, when you see what’s going on in France, Italy, Europe, it’s going to happen here.”, analyzes a passerby. During the day, New York is currently living in slow motion. Staying at home is only a recommendation for the moment. No traffic jams, empty subways, closed restaurants and museums. Residents came to admire the Statue of Liberty, alone.
