Beetsterzwaag Fire Brigade Quickly Extinguishes Tree Stump Fire

BEETSTERZWAAG – The Beetsterzwaag fire brigade responded to an outdoor fire on Saturday evening. Once on site at the Gealeane in Beetsterzwaag, a tree stump turned out to be on fire. A passerby noticed the fire.

Using a jet of high pressure, the firefighters managed to extinguish the stump quite quickly. To ensure that it did not get further into the stump, it was sawed off at the ground. After pouring one last load of water over it, they left for the barracks again.
