Review of the Sierra Nevada California IPA
by Linden09
Slightly cloudy lemon yellow is in the glass, the white cap sticks well to the beer.
Smell quite simple in one direction: lemongrass, lime, grapefruit.
This is also evident in the taste: Fresh and tangy, citrus notes that are not too dominant open the IPA session.
In the middle a light malt note, the basic tone from the smell / initial taste remains dominant. Overall, little bitter, which is not needed with this light IPA.
A beer made for the summer, crisp and fresh, thirst-quenching, never too intensely sour. And the pleasant bitter reverberation comes after all.
