.Improving honey production, reducing colony losses but also assessing environmental health through sensors placed in beehives, all of these challenges that beekeeping must take up and for which the Internet of Things can offer solutions.

François Pfister, after his career as a teacher-researcher at IMT Mines Alès, set up his start-up Connecthive and thus maintains privileged links with the school. Two doctoral students are also currently working on the problem of bees, and therefore working in particular with the start-up!
