/ world today news/ Bee Gees vocalist Robin Gibb died on Sunday at the age of 62 after a long illness, the world media reported.

In the last few months, the singer was admitted to a London hospital because of an oncological disease aggravated by pneumonia. Gibb was reported to have passed out and then emerged from a coma, but was unable to speak.Robin, along with his brothers Barry and Maurice, founded The Bee Gees, who were at the height of their fame in the 1960s and 1970s.
