His practice will be called “Mundreich”: 300 square meters directly in AlsterCity, six treatment rooms and 15 parking spaces. But there is still a construction site here. Oral surgeon Philipp Tavrovski had to exercise a lot of patience over the past year and a half. Now he’s finally moving towards the finish line. An interim report.
You have to say goodbye to the idea that everything happens very quickly,” says Tavrovski. “On the contrary, it takes forever and that really annoys me. But you don’t have things in your hands.” The pandemic remains a constant companion when the practice is founded – especially when it comes to material procurement and the capacities of the trades on the construction site. In principle, everyone involved expected the conversion to take longer. “As far as the opening is concerned, I’m still up in the air,” affirms the founder. “But it will end in January 2022 at the latest.”
After all, the financing is complete, the marketing presence is in the final stages and the search for personnel is also starting. Nevertheless, almost every week there are situations in which it is easy to start having doubts. “Keeping calm here and continuing on the path you have taken is the most important tip I would like to give other founders,” emphasizes Tavrovski.
