Heru Budi Hartono
Heru is not a foreign “person” within the DKI provincial government. Before becoming Head of the Presidential Secretariat, you held the position of Head of the Office of Regional Heads and Foreign Cooperation of the DKI Provincial Government (KDH and KLN Office).
When President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was still governor, Heru held the post of mayor of North Jakarta. Then, in the era of Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), he was given the role of head of the Regional Assets Financial Management Agency (BPKAD).
Signs of support for Heru have also appeared. It appears that the NasDem faction of the DKI DPRD is drawn to its track record.
The reason is that NasDem has given a signal on the figure that is considered appropriate to be the interim governor of the DKI. The signal is that the right person is the one close to President Jokowi.
“Only one name is close to the president,” DKI DPRD’s NasDem faction leader Wibi Andrino said on Monday (9/12/2022) when contacted.
Heru also answered the question about whether his name was listed on the Jakarta Governor’s Stock Exchange. At that moment she stressed that he was President Jokowi’s authority.
“There are many who are more appropriate, and of course it is his authority (President Jokowi),” Heru said in response to reporters’ questions about the interim governor of the DKI at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (17/8 / 2022).
