Anita Ábel: “Everyone gets excited in this chair”
In an interview with our magazine, the actor-presenter told us what it was like to participate in the show as a player.
To be honest, we didn’t think we would win five million forints, Bálint and I discussed at the beginning that if we win one million, then we are doing well. The truth is that we were able to connect very well, despite the fact that it is a bit more difficult to play together than alone. But somehow our brains were always on the same page, we were always able to follow the train of thought nicely even in cases where we weren’t 100% sure
– begins Anita, who revealed that they have a very good relationship anyway, since they worked together in the series Hazatalálsz. They are not strictly in a collegial relationship, but in friendship, because Anita also worked together with Bálint’s wife, Sisa.
“I also love Sisa, and the working relationship with Bálint worked well, I was very happy when it turned out that our couple would be on the show, I couldn’t have imagined it with anyone else. Bálint is a very calm personality and, surprisingly, so was I, even though we were both very nervous.”
There is a strange charm to this chair, you somehow know everything from the armchair at home. I think we more than accomplished what we went for, even though we weren’t greedy. It is also important to be able to stop when you get tired.

And what Laci Palik was like in Let You Be a Millionaire! in your chair?
Anita according to him, it suits him very well.
“It was good to see Laci in this role, his presence was reassuring, you feel safe next to him. He has few tools to help, but his calmness also helps you not to be so nervous, it relieves the tension.”
It’s like sitting in the dentist’s chair: in the waiting room, you don’t know what awaits you, but at the end you feel good that everything is fine. This show was a very pleasant experience for me, I am proud of Bálint and myself.
Anita Ábel sees that the ones who can go further in this game are those who can deduce the individual questions and who think logically with common peasant sense.
