But there are also situations where drivers who switch to Tesla after a while give up on the idea and go back to cars with fossil fuel engines. Here because!
Excited about what he experienced behind the wheel of a Tesla Model 3 Long Range during a test drive, an American has finally decided to pay around 55,000 euros to be able to drive such a car every day. All good, but in the end the driver came to the conclusion that he preferred to drive a normal car.
The driver confesses in a Reddit post that during the six months he drove Model 3 has not encountered any kind of problem, indeed. The driving experience has always been the same and the technical capabilities of the car have always lived up to expectations. The owner was also very pleased with Tesla’s autopilot system, which proved extremely useful on longer trips.
The excitement waned along the way, however, with the driver in question confessing that the actual driving experience of such a model had become boring. Also, in the beginning, immediately after buying the car, the owner charged it at home. Then he moved to a new apartment located in an area where there were no more Supercharger stations nearby, which complicated the situation a bit.
He sold the car and made a profit
The last straw, however, only came when the driver had to call Tesla customer service. Dissatisfied with his experience of him, he eventually decided to sell his car. He also made a profit, managing to sell it for just over € 58,000.
The Model 3 LR was eventually replaced by a Genesis G70 3.3T of 2019, purchased for an amount of approximately 34,500 euros. The car is equipped with a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 capable of developing 365 horsepower and a maximum torque of 521 Nm and with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
