The life of a celebrity was like a drama.
Sergei Paramonov became known throughout the USSR as a child. His clear voice instantly sounded in the hearts of millions of compatriots, and over time, almost the whole world learned about the talented boy. The fans were sure that a world star was growing before their eyes, but the artist was destined for a completely different fate.
Troubles in Paramonov’s life began in adolescence. The fact is that his voice began to break, as a result of which he could no longer perform his repertoire. The artist fell into a severe depression and began to seek solace in alcohol: more and more often he was seen drunk, and friends and colleagues only aggravated the addiction by treating him regularly.
Over time, Paramonov decided that he still had to study music and entered the Ippolitov-Ivanov School, but could not cope with the heavy workload. As his relatives noted, by that time Paramonov was already a man with a broken psyche: he never managed to cope with his loss of popularity.
Despite the failures, the artist continued to record compositions and released a disc with his hits from his youth. Paramonov even goes on tour and helps young artists work on their work. And at one of the parties he meets the singer Maria Porokh, who after some time becomes his wife.
Since the relatives were sure, the musician’s life began to improve. He was able to give up alcohol and lived a happy family life. But the birth of a child led to a crisis in the relationship. As a result of constant quarrels, Paramonov began to drink again, and Gunpowder decided to part with him.
Breaking with the chosen one was another blow for the musician. He was left alone and stopped communicating with his loved ones. The musician died in the spring of 1998, not having lived a few months before his 37th birthday: he fell ill with pneumonia and died of suffocation due to a strong coughing fit.
