Kreuzberg nights are long and sometimes brutal. Shots are fired just because someone says the wrong salute…

Accused before the district court: Giuseppe T. (24) from Neukölln. Italian, born in Berlin. Behind bars since November 2021.
It looks like something out of a bad mafia film: On November 27, 2020, he is said to have shot Khaled Al A. (30), who was accompanied by four women, in front of the Späti Mittenwalder- / corner of Fürbringer Straße in Kreuzberg. With a Glock 17 – a pistol also used by GSG9 and SEK.
Hours before there was an argument at the hairdresser’s. A young man from “Clan A” had not greeted a man from “Clan B” first. That was supposedly enough for blood feud!
According to the indictment, someone in the family had to die for it, no matter who. To be on the safe side, there was a second shooter. But the victim survived: a projectile caught on a vertebra in the back.

The fate of the handsome Italian Giuseppe was that the police later found the murder weapon in a car. It’s his genetic fingerprint. The Italian is also said to have left traces in the attack on money messengers on January 24, 2020 in the “Neukölln Arcaden”: The perpetrators fled over a fence, one got stuck, the DNA on the trouser shred also led to him.
He is silent about everything. A question of honor, just like in the film … Life imprisonment threatened. Verdict: September 15.
