The mayor of Cipolletti, Claudio Di Tella, regretted the return to Phase 1 that the provincial government ordered but assured that the large number of cases that have been registered in the region forced to take this measure.

“We support the government’s decision, it is not what we would have wanted but the situation is worrying, especially for the health system,” said the communal chief. Tomorrow, the Executive will announce the scope of the measure for Cipolletti.
He added that it is a total reversal of the flexibilities and that only essential activities will be allowed. Cipolletti is one of the cities with the highest demand in the health system and one of the most collapsed in the province due to high demand.
Di Tella acknowledged that the outbreaks did not occur due to the easing but that it is a measure to reduce circulation to a minimum and try to flatten the contagion curve.
The main cause of contagion is social gatherings. This premise is the explanation given by the entire political and health arc. “Because of some of us we have to pay for everything, but you go out into the street and see people without masks. There are social gatherings. On these hot days, people came out in droves, it is very difficult ”, lamented the doctor.
On the other hand, the social climate is worrying given the measure that rolls back all the flexibilities that had been allowed throughout this quarantine. “Let’s hope that people become aware and respect the new regulations,” he said.
