A 28-year-old from Bremen kept the Achimer police in suspense on Friday. The man first stole his girlfriend’s cell phone and car in the morning and tried several times to sell the vehicle, the police said on Saturday. After he brought the car back damaged, his girlfriend alerted the police. Since the man may have been under the influence of drugs, a blood sample should be drawn from him. Before that, he attacked three police officers. They were injured, according to a spokesman, but were able to continue working.
During the night the police were alerted by the man’s girlfriend after the 28-year-old reappeared at her place. The man first fled in his car, had an accident and was caught with the help of a police dog. He was again blood drawn and the officers also found drugs on him. The 28-year-old must now expect several criminal charges and the loss of his driver’s license.
