Frankfurt – Borussia Dortmund stumbled over the last hurdle before the Christmas break in the German Bundesliga. The team of head coach Marco Rose suffered a 2-3 defeat at Hertha BSC on Saturday evening and wintered with a nine-point deficit on Winter King Bayern Munich as second in the league. Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other hand, was able to continue the positive trend at the end of the year with a 1-0 win against FSV Mainz 05.
