The The amount of the scholarships amounts to 1,500 euros for each winning project. A maximum of 7 scholarships will be awarded. People applying for these scholarships must be born or currently registered in Logroño or enrolled in any educational center in Logroño and be between the ages of 16 and 25.

MUSIC IN A DROP.
The This month’s music section opens with the award ceremony of the Gota Music Volume XVI competition and the concert of this year’s winning group. This act will take place on 21 October, starting at 20:00, in the Patio de La Gota.
On 29 October, from 8 pm, the second cycle ‘Sounds of Logroño’ will be held with the concert ‘Pérfido amor’ by the Rioja Filarmonía Academy of Early Music and the famous percussionist Daniel Garay.
This performance “will offer a historical journey through instrumental dance music, courtesan music and songs of love and heartbreak, from medieval music to French Baroque, passing through Italy, Germany, England and Spain”.
This activity, Nalda recalled, “is subsidized by the Municipality of Logroño, through aid for the development of cultural and artistic projects”.
The “complete and varied program “, aimed at young people between 16 and 35 years, also includes two audiovisual courses. The first, ‘El sonido’, will take place from 24 to 26 September, from 20 to 21:30.
The purpose of this course is to clarify concepts related to the world of sound to facilitate the management of the most used instruments in a Home Studio. To participate, it is necessary to register in advance, which can be done from 7. It has 8 seats and is free.
The The second course will be on video editing for networks and will take place on 25 and 26 October, from 20:00 to 21:30., upon registration from 10. It has 5 seats. This course will teach you how to master the different video formats, core sets and workflow to edit and publish quickly on networks.
Infojoven, for its part, will propose the workshop ‘Youth information. Your window on Europe. Red Eurodesk ‘in which “all the opportunities that young people have to live, study or volunteer in another country will be announced”.
Through the ‘Time to Move’ initiative, opportunities for study, internships, work and volunteering in various European countries are presented throughout the month. Registration is open from today, October 3rd.
It also remains in the schedule the workshop on modern board games, which will take place on October 22, at 6:15 pm. It will be a cooperative and competitive session with modern board games, puzzles and deductions. Participation is free and registration can be done from today.
This October there will also be a new edition of the Philosophical Coffee, scheduled for the 29th, from 12.00 to 13.30, with a maximum of 12 seats. It is aimed at young people between 18 and 35 and is coordinated by Marina Rodríguez. It is a free activity and you are invited to have a coffee. Registrations can be made from tomorrow, day 4.

La Gota also welcomes you two exhibitions: ‘The sensitivity of the skin’, by Cristina López, which is exhibited in the Cortile of the installation from 3 to 29 October.
In this exhibition, through painting and drawing, she expresses how society has influenced the ideal of the female body and how it has changed according to the times and shows the inner struggle that women suffer for not meeting established beauty standards. With this exhibition we mean that the viewer’s gaze is at the center of the scene to establish a personal dialogue with the bodies that are exhibited.
The another exhibition, “Young people and addictions”, is organized by the Riojan Association for the care of people with drug problems (ARAD) and can be visited from 4 to 28 October in the corridor of the 1st floor of La Gota. In addition, on October 19th, at 18:00, the discussion table ‘Young people and addictions’ is scheduled, in which the professionals of the ARAD technical team will participate.
The The Viajateca Experiences program will feature this month’s photo exhibition ‘A Whole Life of Erasmus’, by María Cámara, which will be open from 4 to 29 October.
