Serbia is still in turmoil following the incident in which Beavers Natcho got into. As a reminder, during Partizan Belgrade’s game last night (Thursday) against Voivodina, rival player Said Korac accused Natcho of being a “supporter of Israel that murders Palestinians”. The Israeli immediately approached the referee and demanded that he remove Korach, otherwise he himself would leave the field. Natcho’s words (“Take him out or I will kill him”) were heard during the broadcast.
The referee, it should be noted, was able to take control of the event quite quickly. He asked Korach to apologize in order to calm the spirits, the player tried to do so and approached Natcho, but the former captain of the Israeli national team waved his hand dismissively and did not accept the apology. Partisan coach Albert Nudge, in his debut on the lines, calmed Natcho down a bit to allow the game to resume.

At the end of the event, the referee decided not to issue even a yellow card to anyone involved. However, it is still unknown whether the Serbian Federation will act on this matter in order to impose punishments – on Korac for his inappropriate behavior and on Natcho for the threats he made.
