Beauvaisien Tenor Nicolas Morant Wins First Prize at Young Talents Night Finals

On October 21, the final of the Young Talents Night finals was held. Nicolas Morant, Beauvaisien tenor wins first prize.

“I still don’t realize!” proclaims Nicolas Morant, big winner of the Night of Young Talents, still stars in his eyes as if he were coming off stage. On the theme of musical comedy, the Beauvaisien singer first performed “Déchiré” from “Notre Dame de Paris” alongside two dancers, Iris and Méline.

Being a lyrical singer, who adopts a rather static posture on stage, “the theatrical and dance part of the show was a real challenge” but also a dream, for him who covets one day joining a musical comedy troupe. After the intermission, Nicolas sang “Règne”, from “Dracula”, performed by Bruno Pelletier. “That evening, I not only sang, I acted, I played characters… It was so captivating!” he says with great emotion.

If it is still difficult for the singer to come down from the excitement of the evening, which propelled him to the front of the stage, the projects are coming one after the other. By winning the first jury prizehe will have the possibility of making a studio recording, in addition to the one he must make having won the Oise edition, as well as the first part of a French artist.

Even if Nicolas still has his head in the stars, he keeps his feet on the ground by getting more involved in his “hometown”, with the hope of a collaboration with the municipality, as many commemorations approach…
