Beauvaisien of the year 2022 – The beautiful artists of Beauvaisis: The year which saw the emergence of the Beauvaisian singer Oete

It already seems a long time ago when Thibaut Blond alias Oete put an end to his activity as a specialized educator (he had studied in this field in Beauvais) to devote himself exclusively to music.

Four months later, in January 2021, he signed a label, the key to being able to live from his passion. 2022 was the year he emerged artistically “I do hyper melancholy lyrics but I try to put very new wave and disco synths in them so that we can dance to them”he revealed to us.

His single, “Défense” released on March 4 was the best reflection of his inspirations. Oete, who was one of the “Inouïs” at the Printemps de Bourges last April (selection of new artistic talents) displayed his spleen with his suave and gravelly voice on many French stages.

And today, he shares his life between Paris and Beauvais to live his passion to the full, “a necessary step” of his new life.
