Alexander Isak was hot in October and scored goals, both in the national team and in Real Sociedad. But in November he has been speechless – until tonight.

In the 35th minute, the 22-year-old ran deep and got a pass from Adnan Januzaj. Once there with the goalkeeper, the Swede showed proof of cold when he masterfully chipped the ball into the net. The goal was 1-1 and came seven minutes after Monaco’s lead goal.
But to the annoyance of Isak and Real Sociedad, the goal did not contribute to any points in the Europa League meeting. Monaco took the lead again three minutes after Isak’s goal and won 2-1. Alexander Isak was given a chance to change things around.
A heavy loss for Real Sociedad who are third in Group B in the Europa League with six points. Thanks to the victory, Monaco is second with eight points when one round remains to be played.
