COMMUNITY. Five Beauce projects stood out as part of the third edition of Promutuel Assurance Chaudière-Appalaches’ In the heart of your community program. The winning projects were chosen after a voting period held between May 31 and June 16.
Two projects from Saint-Honoré-de-Shenley organizations were selected, namely the Beauce Agricultural Exhibition for the construction of a family pavilion and the other from the municipality for the development of tennis and pickleball courts. .
In addition to receiving a donation, the Maison de la famille Nouvelle-Beauce and Community social pediatrics center won one of the three Coup de cœur awards for the expansion of the facilities. Le Havre l’Éclaircie, adaptation and development of the living environment, and Moisson Beauce, an oasis of healing and fraternity in nature, also stood out in the eyes of the judges.
“There were so many great projects and choices to be made that the Board of Directors preferred to grant amounts to all the organizations that had reached the public vote stage, exceptionally this year. We are really looking forward to seeing the progress of these projects and the concrete impact they will have in our communities,” said Executive Director Anne Vaillancourt.
An amount of $547,000 was donated to 25 local organizations to support the realization of various promising projects for the community. Since the program began, Promutuel Assurance Chaudière-Appalaches has donated a total of $1,318,997 to the community.
