Beau joins his colleague Humberto on Wednesday evening to talk about his program House of Beau to have. At the end of the episode, Humberto already suggests a name for next season: Eva Jinek. The presenter is currently on maternity leave, but will not return to RTL when her child is born. “How did you think that? We didn’t talk about it at all,” Humberto Beau puts it in front of the block, who indicates that he doesn’t actually want to discuss it live on television.
“Look, I didn’t expect it,” Beau then replies. “It came as a bolt from the blue. I am such a commercial figure who thinks: she goes for the cash, she stays here. (…) But then again I think it’s nice and cool that she does it. I think she does that, I’m filling that in now, for her family. That she will present earlier in the evening, at that safe public broadcaster.”
Humberto, Beau and Renze remain with the three of them to fill the late evening of RTL. A challenge that Beau looks forward to taking on. “It’s good to have a woman there,” Beau says. “She was really the anchor, we were there. Now we have to become the anchor and that is also exciting.”
